So I'm using a treadmill that shows both the Calories burned & Fat calories burned. I'm quite confused with logging it because I'm not sure which of the two should I log. In what I have observed, the fat calories burned shows a slower burning progress...

Oh look his one does "Fat calories" Okay :) But my problem is, the "total calories burned" doesn't seem....
With the "calories burned" ignore the "Fat calories" option that probably added a couple hundred to the machine price...

Just wondering if someone could clear this up for me. I'm using the MyFitness Pal app on my phone at the moment and it says that I can consume 1200 cal but when I exercise I burn on average 500 and then it tells me that I'm not eating enough...

Most equations or estimates with machines completely overestimate how many calories you burn.

On MFP it says that to maintain my current weight I should have 1360 calories a day. I wore my HRM for the last 24 hours just to see if it was anywhere close to that. It said I burned 1884 calories in that 24 hours. Any ideas on calories?

There are other products that can give you a better idea of calories burned throughout the day guides are given as standards.
I am pretty sure HRM for calories burned is only accurate while doing cardio exercise.

You first need to know how many calories you need on a daily basis to maintain your weight. Average calorie intake is about 1200 calories a day. Depending on your weight that number may change. Excess calories will make you gain weight. ChaCha!

It is, however, okay to have a cheat day as long as you don't go crazy and eat 2500 calories! I always eat around 1200 calories during the week with your plan with no ill effects....

I've been very carefully counting calories for a week and a half now. I eat around 1,200 calories a day and I've upped my cardio. Unfortunately the scale hasn't budged! I thought that if I burned more calories than I took in that would automatically equate...
