Injector upgrades.

I have not one but two hot rod articles from the late 60s and very early 70s about racing a 340. Both cars needed extensive mods to break into the 13s, so either you are really good with a gauge or you are mistaken.

Times, you better also say poor aero, and poor weight distribution, terrible heat soak problems, on aluminum heads ( about -.5 CR cause aluminum wicks away heat better), much bigger cam and in many cases given 1983 ish RFG unlead....
