I am creating object-detection program on Mac. I want to use iSight in manual exposure mode to improve detection quality.

QTKit Capture, as easy as it is to use, lacks the ability to set manual camera parameters like gain, brightness, focus....
I use this library for video capture from, and control of, CCD.
camera (like the old external iSight).

If you want to manipulate the camera....
You can check an image from the iSight.
From the unix command line that takes a picture from the isight camera and saves it.

When I start video during a call is for camera...so y is that working and in skype it isn't? I'm also having this problem, maybe the update to the headers screwed....
That allowed Cheese to access the camera, but Skype still can't run it.
