I have a D300 (my first love) and a LX3 (my little baby) but it's time for a new camera that will fit in between the two in size. I'll be heading to Peru soon and don't want to lug my D300 around the way I did while in Greece and Turkey a few years ago...

A used D40 and my 35mm 1.8 is a superb travel camera with very high quality from this thread and seems to have pre-ordered an Nex camera.

I had a great uncle die recently and i was left with a Nikon F series camera
that i believe is from the mid 60's? Any idea as to its worth????? He had tons
of lenses and leather cases and skins for the thing .
