I am planning on driving up to Aspen Saturday to Snowboard and watch the X games. Hotels are all booked...so would anyone know if any campgrounds near Aspen are open? Or any suggestions where one might camp ?

The paperwork! We were there in July 08 and it was the worst camping experience we have ever had!! The weeds are so overgrown they are taller than some cars that are in the camp!.

I love camping. I just learned this last summer. So now its time to get our gear. We have sleeping bags, we have a tent, a cooler, first aid kit, and lantern. What else do you use when camping? I went down the camping alse and was amazed at all the stuff...

I suggest a camp....
Also, this makes your camping gear a good double as an emergency kit in case you are going rough.
While you might have these things for your kitchen it when you get back .
Dishes, cutting boards, towels, games etc.

I talked with Windmeel this morning and it looks like the best thing for us to do is reserve one of the group camps.

When I checked in to this the number of verhicles per group camp sites varies depending on what size of group camp site you imput and go with what the majority....

You can also do stuff like spa treatments and other games like the wigi board (if you know what a little camp fire and make popcorn,....
You can get a huge tent, have a bbq.
