Any advice for a first time kayaker? Recreational kayaking on a lake to start out.

People can and do drown within a few minutes in cold water even in the calmest a kayak you can....
If you are renting short fat or use your muscles.

Does anyone know anything about a P & H 'Iceflow sea kayak ?
Apart from a fuzzy photograph on 'Seapaddler' website I can't find anything about them through Googling.

Other boats! As has been said it is a large sea kayak that can hold enough camping equipment kayak, capable of withstanding the severe storm conditions which can be found on the open ocean.

Hey Guys I am just getting into shark fishing and I am wanting to purchase a kayak to take bait out but I am not sure which one is the best to get this accomplished with what do you suggest would be the most stable of the lower priced kayaks for someone...

Clint caught this 8.5lb trout right after the front passed at 11am on a pink skitterwalk in 3' of water to win big trout in the Galveston trophy trout series...I think it's the biggest trout of the year for the series...Congrats Clint

While searching for my first pair of boat shoes (kayakers don't need'em), I am finding it impossible to find "E" or wide boat shoes. Any suggestions? Buying one size too big so I get the width, is just not an option.
Any insight is appreciated.

Hi,
I'm looking for a helmet, something like a Sweet Wanderer but the L/XL size is too small and pinches on my temples. Has anyone got any reccomendations? Is there any reason why I can't use a snowboarding/skiing helmet?

Not the best if it takes a hit on the 1st rapid of the day .
Ive seen plenty of people using impacts.
