If you don't want to rewrite/fix the script, I suggest calling the script via exec() or one ('doprocessing.pl'); .
If you want to force the module to be reloaded, delete its entry from %INC and then reload.

I'm setting up a maven build, and the destination server needs to be specified on the command line as a property (which is then used to select the appropriate profile), eg
mvn -Denv=test

You could even control such a workaround: in Maven you can activate a profile if some property is not set:
<project>/profiles> </project....
