Canals would have to be Manchester Ship Canal type size to really large canals, and Manchester Ship Canal.
Sizes or possibly even larger.

A four night stay in Venice in March this year - in excellent weather - resulted in a great many images. In this A/V I have tried to show a 'quieter' Venice, away from the usual very busy hotspots.

I vote for Hopwas on the northern reaches of the Coventry (OK, B&F to the purists!). A nice village with a couple of nice canalside pubs, and lovely woods just to the North. But whenever we pass (which is frequently, since our marina is only 1 hr away...

Difficult to work a boat through the lock.
