I have read great info on where to go in Cancun but I was wondering where is it NOT safe to go in Cancun. Places I should avoid and should I venture out of the tourist areas.

But I was trying to ask more toward certain areas such as downtown Cancun or any places outside all Houston Clubs are safe.
I'd imagine dark alley's, crack houses, and sketchy it..
See something similar in Cancun aviod those too.

Don't laugh, but dh and I bring our own uht tetra-pak milk and nespresso pods to Cancun as we don't like the leche in Cancun. These uht tetra-paks take up precious room in our luggage. For any transplants in Cancun, can one acquire north American style...

I can guarantee you that it's probably the best hotel in Cancun.
To Cancun I hope this hotel is as good as most of the reviews make out as we are 2 couples looking for a great holiday.
