All of a sudden, my 06 civic starting acting up last night:
I was stopped at a light and i feel my car jerk forward. I thought it was the person behind me that hit me and got pissed and moved forward a little. At another light, it did the same thing.

No jerking so far.
Problems: Engine Check Light goes on, D drive blinking, Car jerk after the car stop on dashboard started blinking and check engine light came on.
Failures.

My daughter took her car into the dealership yesterday for scheduled maintenance which included changing the oil. She drove it the 3 or 4 kms home and parked it. Today on her way to school the engine was making noise like a slipping fanbelt or the sound...

The gauge or idiot light, it just proves that they didn't check oil level after the oil was change, so what on his way home and the dealership forgot to put in the oil.

My N/A's auto trans started overheating the other day, so this morning I took it for a short run to warm it up & run the diagnostic.
Trans overheats again in way less than 5Ks, run the diagnostic - no probs there.
I can't tell what the trans fluid level...

Can't figure out why the Engine Light is on! My machine reads no codes, my mechanic's machine reads no codes, but the light is on! I replaced the gas cap, thinking the loose factory cap I had was the reason, but It's still happening. I erased the light...

Can't get an inspection sticker with the check engine light on...SO ANNOYING! It looks like engine check lights on and off over the past year, with the no code returned as well.

Hey all,
So I was setting things up to get my transmission fluid changed, when like three different mechanics at the shop told me that there is no point in changing it unless it's having problems and that cracking open the case will just cause more problems...

A transmission fluid change anywhere between 40k-80k or you can just check the oil and see if its dark you don't change your engine oil until you see smoke coming out of your engine? LOL....

Your mechanic would have to pull the oil pan to check....
Someone needs to hook an oil pressure gauge to the engine and check the actual oil pressure pulls oil out of the oil pan into the oil pump.

My sticker said at either 139K miles or on March 23. I just hit 140 on Friday and planned to bring it in this week.
It broke down on Saturday---the oil was empty and we assumed there was a leak.
The car place just called and said that my engine is hosed...

BMW NA still gives you one free oil change per year and when the car tells the dealer/driver when to 3500 ....
I now have 9,000 miles.
And my car will be calling for it's second oil change well before 5K miles...
