The low oil warning light though the engine oil should always be kept topped up.
Be checking your oil regularly anyway.

I took my truck to the dealer about a week ago to get the oil changed for 1st time. It had just over 5,000 miles. The dealer seemed to think it was 10k, went back and fourth and told them the 2.7 was the exception.... whew
