Can i use a student loan to buy a car? I'm getting a stanfford loan from fasfa, so I wanted to know if I could buy a cheap car to get me to and from school.

It is for that purpose to get what you need to get you through school and a car you get cut from all funding.
Then no it just goes towards the school..why not just take out a auto loan if you want a car? Yes straight to you.

They look from school when....
BTW the best about their student loan payments and we nonchalantly say that we don't have any anymore.
I imagine you feel even better since it was your loan.
Paid off my wife's student loans.
My wife and I were asked, back in 1997 to cosign a loan for a nephew. The loan is still not paid off and, although there is an option to allow it, the lender seems reluctant to remove us as cosigners. No good deed goes unpunished! Learn from our mistake...

It just seems like such an easy think to pay off and the interest rate is higher than the car so logically.
