I just bought an 06 STi and was looking at a few things to preserve the motor.. What do you guys use? Has anyone changed out thermostats and upgraded the radiator to keep temps down? Any other recommendations...

Does anyone know why one of the water pump bolts on a 16/17 engine is 75mm long whereas the others are 60mm and 40mm?

See that attached parts book, it looks like the 75mm bolt has a spacer and two washers. This to me seems to negate...
