I own a 2011 328i with the steptronic automatic transmission. I'm wondering what a reasonable maintenance schedule is for this car. I'm not buying the 'lifetime" auto trans fluid line - it is coming from the same people who are in the business of selling...

I just bought a 1996 Civic DX and can't find the dipstick to check the transmission fluid. Are there any links or advice to find this?

The rest of the tune up if the car has spark plug wires with silicon spray every time you wash the car or change the oil(nobody else does either).
I think the price was pretty cheap.
