I want to listen to the music on my iPod using my car's speakers.
Is there any device that can make my iPod transmit the music to my car's radio? Something like an FM-transmitter?

The solution I used was to install a box behind my car stereo which provided an 1/8" line in.
Allowing them to overpower the area radio stations, but I couldn't tell you (a) if that really works nor (b) how to do it if it does.

I work in an environment where a typical stereo/ boombox will not work very well maybe one local fm station and if your not country....well. A car radio could help here.
Here is what you need:
Find a car stereo that works and then find the wiring diagram...

I listen to radio online, through my iPhone, and with Apple TV all the time. However, except for a mono radio with my alarm clock, I don't have an actual radio which can pick up broadcast radio.
Does anyone still listen to an actual broadcast radio outside...

I absolutely listen to broadcast....
My phone's bluetooth is also an FM radio, so I listen to it all.
I listen to the news in the morning while I'm having much it, in or out of a car.
Outside of a car? I have a radio in the kitchen.

Is this possible? Running the cars radio and scanner radio to drivers door speaker? I have a ex cop crown vic so i know the wires to run the scanner to the speaker is there. But can i put a three way switch in to run scanner when its on to that speaker...
