When I got my SS Card with my work permit it had restrictions written on it (VALID FOR WORK ONLY WITH DHS AUTHORIZATION). Now that I have my green card can I apply for a replacement card which will take the restrictions off of the SS Card?

If you have an SS card without the restrictive wording, you, notifying the SSA of your permanent....
In addition I'll wait Don't wait till naturalization.
That unrestricted SS card could be very useful if your GC is ever lost or stolen.
