I know with some gift cards they will not work unless they are activated at a register, then used (like....
If you dont have a way to trace the activation codes on the cards, then I don't think there is a way to have these cards traced.

Then you should send a letter to the bank detailing the loss of the card, when it was when you lost included a link to the federal governments site about lost or stolen debit cards.
