Is using dandruff shampoo good even if you don't have dandruff? ? One of my friends told me that if you use dandruff shampoo it will moisturize your hair follicles and will grow out more shinny and healthier. Is this true?

I used to have fringe and didn't have dandruff but they were constantly greasy so I grew em out but I still don't have issues with dandruff.

The use of a teaspoon of fresh lime juice for the last rinse, while washing the hair, is another useful remedy. This not only leaves the hair glowing but also removes stickiness and prevents dandruff. Lime juice or lemon juice is an excellent oily dandruff...

That worked pretty well for us - you ....
During the bath, make sure to wash the hair really well to get the oil out .
A lot of the flakes should come out.
Put some olive oil on the scalp and let it sit for an hour or so before bath time, then comb it out .

Ok, so Dixie, she is a Lad/ Great Dane mix that I share with a friend has dandruff. Didn't notice it last weekend when I had her, but when I got her home today I noticed it was pretty bad.

I just added about girlie has the same issue.
For us fish oil helped a lot.
During winter she's gets terrible dandruff.
