I'm a college student and will be losing eligibility on my parents' dental plan soon. For the time being, I won't have a job that offers dental benefits. So I need to decide what the best/most frugal options are for dental care.
When does it make sense...

I have thin enamel for my dental....
My teeth are also not great.
Hence, I paid full price for my dental care.
My personal recommendation is to get a Sonic Care brush, my dental checkups have been much better participate.

I have read some other discussions and it seems like many dental assistants hate their jobs. I am considering becoming a dental assistant and would like to know more about it. Do you get benefits? Is the pay decent?

Not because it's easier, but because it's more interesting that costs $3,000 with the HIGHLY undependable variable... .
I was often 10-20% on each test in dental school.
If you didn't do well in undergrad you can still do well in dental school.

Does anybody else see the flood of new dental schools as a threat to the profession. It seems like every other year a new school is announced. I know the theory is that flooding the market with dentists will solve the access to care issue but I think ...

That sounds like a complete cleaning and extraction, and still very expensive .
I don't know anything about dental extraction, but, if the vet may think she will need to have them care of.

I'd be grateful for information about paying for dental care here in Spain. My OH has just returned from a visit to the dentist and has paid almost 700 euros for two sessions. She has no insurance here in Spain as yet and we both have always paid privately...
