Any side jobs you do will help your skills but good luck bidding against someI'm not sure about the skills....
It is also important that these side jobs do not negatively impact your full time job.
Implemented where my day job is.

I'm 18 years old and will be attending community college in the fall. Graduating 12th grade this year. My SAT scores, if relevant, 680 math, 650 reading, and 690 writing. I'm currently unemployed.
