Would like to here your oppions on concealed carry VS. open carry. do you think your more likely or less likely to be confronted by someone trying to harm you if you open carry.

It is a misdemeanor to carry concealed without your permit.

I'm looking to get a new carry 1911 for conceal carry. I was planning on getting the Sig Scoprion Carry 1911 .45 but have recently ran across the RIA Carry .45. Any suggestions would be helpful? Money isn't the issue, it's just the best gun for the money...

Rails on a carry gun aren't exactly ideal.

With the carry models, the standard is the bob tail grip.
The differences in the Ed Brown models are cosmetic.
There is no price coating.
Ambi safeties are an option on either.

I've heard you can carry a gun as long as it's in your backpack...In other words, where it's useless to you, that's where you can carry it.
