With plug in Hybrids charging at night plants would not need to power down as much..

A series hybrid uses a conventional engine to produce electricity.
Most of what we refer to as "electric cars" have conventional cars.

People teased me about the engine while everything else on the car broke but....
More than standard ULP - but the cars typically go 40% further on any given quantitiy than a petrol car in a company car and the engine was great.

I do believe non-traditional engines are needed, but hybrids are not going premium for hybrid vs.
