Since the weekend I have noticed a knocking noise whilst driving, usually at speeds of around 20-40 mph, but not when doing 70mph on the motorway.
It is a knock knock knock, coming from the near side front, thought it was something in the glove box but...

So I have got to put with....
I usually take become less rigid and the knocking noise is coming from the dash or the glovebox.
Have known these fail on many cars and give a knocking noise at low speed.

Hey Guys,
Went to the dealership yesterday for my first service. I just did an oil change but switched over to synthetic oil. The car is a 2010 that I bought used and is at 32000 KM now.

I noticed.
That knocking noise/ringing noise or whatever you wanna call it about every 20-25 seconds.

didnt drive my 2003 530i 100k miles for one week
started car today and ypsss ... some knocking loud noise with the same interval from the driver side of engine
drove car 3 miles to work ( 5 min ) , still the same noise
parked car at work , started...

Not the CV joints before people say thay.
when the cars stationary if i turn the steering wheel slightly it makes a loud knocking noise. checked the power steering fluid etc any ideas?
its a 1.7 derv.

I have a slight knocking noise coming from the nearside rear of my 2005 T-Spec (68k miles). The knocking is most noticable at very low speeds, entering/exiting the drive etc. I've had a look and feel about under the vehicle, the only movement i can detect...

Hi had 1.8 07 civic for a few months and it has always had the occasional front end knock over speed bumps, deviations etc, only 21k on clock.
Lately it has got louder still and all are low speed knocks when the suspension goes down or over bumps, deviations...

Inside the car that is Ive just tried again doing as this was advisoried on the MOT....
Could be the joints in the steering rack by the pedals .
It only do it when the engine is on as it is electric? check the track rod ends, jack the car up.
