Electric motors can be as powerful as an internal combustion engine but the battery technology is not yet there.
Some cars.
Of refilling a car with diesel or gasoline as compared to spending hours recharging a battery.

I know the break in oils are zinc rich for flat tappet cams. Is there any benefit to running a break in oil when i fire my new LT1?

On a fresh motor especially use a break-in additive that is high in zinc..
Did you just do a cam swap or rebuild the whole motor? If you just did a cam swap you do not need change..
