Hi,
I'm looking for a way to query the ink level for my Epson DX 4050 on Mac OS X. There is some UI called EPSON StatusMonitor to display cartridges levels graphically, but I'd like to get it from the command-line so it can feed a robot.
Any idea ?

Our ink cartridges seem to last for about a week then that's it.
We have spent more money on replacing them than the printer cost.
I am going to try this method and refill them.

The ink cartridges are usually about 1/2 empty (or full) when the printer complains about them being series) at the office and used re-furbed cartridges from Click Inks or Ink Jet Superstore for a fraction-win.

Hope someone can help me to get this `thing` working. I have a Canon MG 6150(recently bought) and decided to get a City ink express continuous ink. To start with I could not understand the manual. Did not tell me to fill the cartridges so that was a messy...

This I might go back to refilling cartridges although the main reson for the `continuous` was because I got ink the cartridges so that was a messy job when I had to fill them in position.
