I am working on a project that resizes images using PHP's GD library. I would like to be able to add the option to use seam carving to resize images but don't want to require something like ImageMagick (which can do seam carving with its liquid rescale...

While you could implement this using GD, you're best bet if you can control the server... .
Imagemagick is open source, so I guess you could translate the function to PHP .
I don't see why it shouldn't be possible with GD, but I can tell you it would be slow .

I've done the same pumpkin carving for the last
four years. It takes about 2 days to complete, and
about 150 pins to create. Yes, I do Pinhead Pumpkin
very well....lol

puking pumpkin, and gunshot pumpkin...

When you set the pumpkin near a wall the carving on the back with the carving tool sets.
I wish and they are pretty cool for the effect .
I don't think I have enough patience to do it though .

this is a psuedo carving/engraving of a hei-tiki maori style.
I like carving when I have time.
Club is a Maori Kotiate, or disarming club.

I burned the whole bunch that winter in the fireplace .
The best ones I ended up with did not float right .
I spent the summer working on decoys.
