This question has probably been ask before but I can't find it in the archives. Can I put Sram's new ten speed cassette on my 9 speed hub? Does it require a 10 speed specific chain?

All you need to do is change the cassette and run I can switch to a 10 speed cassette....
Lou is correct, the 10sp cassette is the same width as the 9sp, just narrower spacing between rings.
Hub yes, you will need a new 10sp chain though.

I though that the cogs on the 10 speed cassette were a bit thinner to allow for the extra cog, and keep the overall lengh the same, i went from 9 speed to 10 speed on my nukeproof hub with out any problems,.

You have 2 options 1) Buy the Ti 8g one.
