Blizzards decision to change snipe so it had bonus vs psionic made me realize something.
Ghost-spell caster - emp/snipe
HT-spell caster - Feedback

It seems all the anti-spellcasters, are themselves spellcasters...

With a focus on simplicity and modularity, I doubt we'll see the bard in the 5e Players Handbook (unless of course the bard reverts to 1e and becomes a fighter/thief/bard(druid) ).
That being said, I've always wanted to see a bard variant that was focussed...

They can cast any spell they know as long as they haven't used all their spells per day for the respective.
Oracles don't prepare spells at all; they're spontaneous casters, just like a sorcerer.

BUT! Let's be honest, you won't be as effective as a pure melee or pure caster in those respective roles: the 18/2 is just 1 DC behind a pure assuming similar gear and spell foci, but is 2 behind in spell penetration.....

Something as trivial as hitpoint damage is the only area that non-casters will surpass casters in that inherently, in a vacuum, the primary full-caster classes (Cleric, Druid, and Wizard) are more powerful than/her campaign has ....

Melee guys get no spells (ignore the exceptions for now, those spells suck anyways), so why should casters get BAB?
Have full casters get ZERO BAB. Forever. Then give bonuses based on BAB (like bigger 5' steps as in the other thread, breaking the action...

For healers be given proper tools for opening a gap and creating our own opportunity to cast a spell.
Not for casters.
Spell pushback is just outdated in today's WoW.
