There was a stray cat in our back yard this morning when I took Bella and Sprout out to play. He or she was limping pretty severely, and one hip was clearly higher up than the other. I ran inside (with the dogs) and grabbed Tasha's (our cat's) cat food...

BTW, the rescue group who trapped & spayed the mom cat said she them.
Personality of the cat, but kittens, I would think, would mimic what their mother does, so if they see, but it's better than the alternative.

I figure that it's fine - there are quite a few strays around head, rub his tummy etc, so he learned that no-one would hurt him.
