Why do parasites cause fatigue and weight loss? My cousin recently suffered from a parasite after a trip to Africa. He's safe luckily, but I was just wondering why he had the above symptoms. I want to write a paper about it, but I can't find this information...

Is there a special power or edge that removes fatigue faster than normal? It would seem like, given the cost, Regeneration should do it (it would be weird to spend 15 points on full regeneration but you can be easily fatigued).
