I have an object, dc, of type CDC and I'd like to get an HDC object.
I read the MSDN documentation here , but don't really understand it.
Can someone provide me with a brief example/explanation on how to do this?

CDC class has operator HDC() defined which allows the compiler to convert a CDC object to HDC implicitly.
HDC hdc = cdc; if (hdc != 0) { //success...
CDC cdc = something.

Why does Sun call their VM for CDC devices C Virtual Machine ? Isn't that confusing. I mean it appears that is a virtual machine for the C language, not java. On the mobility faq sun says:

Unfortunately direct compatibility with GDI is not supported in ... .
Both support Windows CE / Mobile and SDL is also available for a bunch of non-Microsoft OS .
They are designed for 3D but work for 2D as well .
I think DirectX or SDL will suit your needs.

Range that are suited w/ kickers <J to call a riv bet for a bakku vs cdc hand this is pretty dull may be the right turn play, couldn't bakku credibly rep AK or AQ with a turn bet and get CDC to fold or AQ with a turn bet and get CDC....
