Getting a Texas Class A is easy.
As I have stated before I have had a CDL for a few years to do anything commercial then don't mess with the CDL.
And maneuver when thing get tight.

Check the CDL switch and wiring, maybe the CDL is indeed engaging, but the switch/wiring is loose may be in CDL low range but the light switch is dodgy or not making proper contact.

About 6 months ago i got a job offer as a train conductor but the offer was recinded because of my colorblindness. i had some trouble with the test with the circles with different colored dots where you have to read the numbers, but only with red/green...

You can lock the CDL and still have your ABS if you do, a good set of snow & ice tires....
So when the CDL is unlocked and no ABS you get no "poor man's" ABS.
