I've heard of companies issuing 'gold disks' to developers, ie the shipped dvd sprayed gold and mounted in a frame with a metal plaque underneath. I think Microsoft used to give everyone who worked on the project a copy of the box which was finally shipped...

My family would celebrate christmas in a non-religious way, and channukah in an almost religious way, although we haven't lit the candles in recent years.

This year I won't celebrate for obvious reasons but to be honest I haven't celebrated it in a good 16 years - the stbxh and I were never really big on the holiday.
