It's not the first time the Celeron has been a steal, back in the Pentium-II basically have a Pentium 2 400 for £80 instead of £300.

My server has a Pentium D 2.8GHz currently on a socket 775, and looking for a lower power consumption processor, as I believe the Pentium D was one of the hottest running.
Looking for something cheap on auction, like a lower end core2duo would be enough...
