Each SIM card is specific to a country (Italy, Greece, US) and I need by AT&T its GSM.

I just upgraded they will usually loan you a global phone if you are purchasing international minutes for travel.
Probably have a new LTE phone....Europe won't support that as they are still on GSM.

Another option is to buy a disposal phone in Italy and/or Greece.
Not all phones work world wide .
The first thing is , find out if your cell phone/smartphone will work in Europe.
We are traveling to Germany, Switzerland, Austria. Any recommendation on purchasing a sim card that will work in all three countries. Only need for calls back to the US - do not need any data. Thanks
