even economical milling/machining centers ??

Mach3 is a cheap software that turns a pc with parallel printer port into a cnc step/direction controller.
That is hobby grade cnc equipment.

I have designed several dies in SolidWorks and need to find a CNC toolmaking shop that can produce from my 3d models.
All the diemakers that I know of are old-school - they need two months to make anything and do their work with hand-fed milling machines...

Second, you obviously have access to some type of machining center which is vital imo, to building and the lazy are hugely taken advantage of when it comes to cnc routers

Since it's 06/02, I thought today would be perfect to start this thread. IMO, This is the most cost-effective and capable lathe for the buck. It should be even more capable after CNC conversion.
