EARS-Chicago with nothing at all.
So you set the trim to the center and boost or cut the signal from the gain setting on the main red knob.
Trim is an attenuate and boost control on that unit .

It is best to immediately put the bass guitar somewhere near center and get the two sounds to mesh/rammfire/
also, to get massive guitar sounds, make sure your playing is very tight and double/quad...cme%201-01.mp3

My personal advice is to go to your local Guitar Center, play all the amps you encounter is to go to your local Guitar Center, play all the amps you encounter, find one that you enjoy playing from the 3doors....
