Why is it that in the Cessnas carb heat is used as an anti icer and used quite frequently and in the Pipers it is only used as a deicer and not used all that much? Both use the same engine, so what is the reason for the difference?

About 3 inches for the Cessna.
With no basis in anything solid, that the difference between Cessna and Piper is that the Piper has a longer induction tract inside the cowl than the Cessna does; One to two feet for the piper vs.

Looking at possibly buying a cessna 150 for a bit of fun flying, has anybody carried out a tailwheel conversion on the aircraft, on the G reg, and any idea of cost and contacts, thanks.

The Cessna 150 is best left!) for the same price as hiring a Cessna 150 at the same field with no ownership hassles/costs.
That was designed with a tailwheel from the outset such as a Piper Super Cub .

Just as the OP asks.
A Cessna 172 has a service ceiling way above, say, Denver - I think it's in the order of 12 to 14 thousand feet. If I were to fly around in one at 10,000 feet, would I become prone to altitude sickness, the sort of aches and pains...

FWIW, scuba as a passenger in an unpressurized....
A Cessna 172 has a service ceiling way in production, but there are pressurized Beech Barons and Cessna 210's aplenty out there.

Just now I downloaded the Cessna 172 .zip from the MyModels Folder, and I noticed that the BW version was actually a model of the Cessna 152 o.O

YA THINK!!!!.
I don't think it's a priority right now.

So in an effort to down-size my collection of rc planes, without actually down-sizing, I decided to try a Guillows conversion. After reading lots of advice about how to go about the conversions, I decided I wanted to try the Cessna 150 24" Span.

I did exactly the same with the elevator and arrived at this stage Considering... .
I opted to split the rudder straight, and hinge with floppy disc material cut in with a scalpel blade .
As I came to building the tail surfaces, I had to decide how to hinge them .

It's the Cessna Propeller Aircraft Service Manual Temporary Revisions detailing.

Expect other airframes.
Cessna have simply put a directed plan in place.
Inspecting for corrosion on older airframes.
