ch + 1;
takes the value (contents) of ch, adds 1 to it and discards....
++ch;
increments whatever is in ch.
It is not possible to change the type of a variable in C++ .
No it won't.
Will think ch is an int(try typecasting).

In C++, is (int) ch equivalent to int(ch).
If not, what's the difference?

In C++, it's generally preferred.
They are the same thing, and also the same as (int)(ch) .
They are the same.

It is not the chia pet song. I heard the song the other day when I was at the mall in the Vans store, I think I have heard it before. Anyone know what this song is? It has like this background that sounds like ch.. ch... ch... chia softly.

I seem to be evolving into more of a wide angle shooter. While I have a (very rarely used) 90 Elmar (and a never used 135 Hektor) for RF photography, 50 is my longest commonly used long lens. 35 feels too in between to me, too normal. 28 has become my...

Generally have always shot with a 35mm or equivalent, but I'm finding that it's usually more of a compromise... .
I've never had much use for lenses longer than 50mm, but I'm starting to find myself wishing for a 85-90mm (maybe semi-macro) for detail shots .
