I would look at it like this - can you afford to take the risk that you might be pregnant? Even it's suitable for you and costs....
I think the rule is same as antibiotics or diarrhoea - one week with additional protection .
And got pregnant.

Is the bigger threat but still overall low risk If you're on the pill and the antibiotics did interfere there to be fertilised, you still only have a 25% of becoming pregnant.

I did try Yasmin pills however and did that, no change in diet or....
I gained 20 from the depo shot, 40 from the pill and 20 from Mirena an IUD .
That will reduce the chances? I personally have gained over 40lbs due to birth control.
