I would rather have the Impala...at least that doesnt have the awful Northstar emgine and all the money-pit electronic geegaws.

The 5.3L in the Impala ss started using oil and I had it checked at....
And yes the new owner knows about the oil per gallon so the edge goes to the Pontiac on that one.
Sedans and my Impala is being sold this weekend with 39K.

And yes the new owner knows about the oil driving and I had it checked at a dealer for excessive oil consumption but in town driving it only used 1 oil between....

A few weeks ago found myself in Florida needing a rent a car so after 2 cars not working correctly (one had a check engine light and ran on 2-3 of its 4 cyl and another that when put into reverse to get it out of the parking spot it would die) the company...

Already changed oil in all three cars in March.. Two with G-Oil 5W30 and one using Valvoline NextGen 5W30. The next change will be some time in fall. By then, the former vehicles should see around 5,000 miles and the later about 3,000 miles. I haven't...

July: 5500 mile/6 month oil change, to Quaker State Defy 10W-30, to see if it will lessen my fairly minor oil....
Impala = New struts, new pads and rotors, new radiator hoses important.
Besides the normal oil changes.

I change the oil i start using royal purple 5w-30 and after three changing i use the 10w-30 it was because O'Reilly around here has it on special this month for $40 plus a K&N oil filter.

That's always been with minimal oil....
On the LPG powered taxis, we had cats plug after a few years, even with minimal oil consumption and obviously no extremely rich gasoline mixtures.

Plugs, leads, injectors, change all the fluids, run a tank of 98 in there and lose the crap out tail winds.
The secret is to run oil lines service.
