Just wondering if others are experiencing this. I know at first start up the exhaust makes funny noise for couple seconds then goes into deeper rumble. What exactly is changing anyway?
Also as I approach a stop sign then finally stop, my exhaust will ...

I'm thinking about swapping out the stock 2.5" H-Pipe for a 2.5" X-Pipe. Reason being, I heard this reduces rasp considerably but introduces slightly more drone.
I need advice on this, if there is anyone with a simular setup, please chime in as I'd greatly...

But if I use the resonated X-pipe, would my exhaust be as loud as it currently is?
My setup:
MRT this resonated x-pipe? And if so, how did it change the tone? Was it deeper but slightly quieter on the resonated x pipe....

One of the perennial issues people want to know about is, which exhaust should they use on their AW11. I've seen several different approaches, but I want to have a conversation about it. Many of us have different approaches, different definitions of "...

It definitely sounds more powerful, though would ....
The sound of the exhaust will depend more on the length of the piping used, but I really think more of the change came from the pipe.
Just sayin.
And useless.

Hello Folks. My exhaust--on a, 2004.5/, 4wd, completely stock truck, 89,000 miles and with a dealer extended warranty, broke between the stock muffler exit flange and the tail pipe. I was told that because it has the Cat it is covered. Is this true? If...

The BANKS system does change the exit point....
I'm hoping it will be close to the stock noise level or only a tad louder withoutLook into a BANKS or MAGNAFLOW for a drone free exhaust system with a warranty.
With the exhaust.

Good day gents.
Was in drag racing yesterday, with tuned Nissan GT-R. I have 2007 ZX14, about 2500 miles on it only. And everything is stock, haven't touch anything.
My friend also has ZX14, but 2008 with 8000 miles on it. He says it is stock maps etc...

I'm concerned about gas milage and overheating.
If the pipe was the only I just change exhaust and take flies out? No PC.
Or less equal) due to the removal and replacement of the stock exhaust.

Hi all,
I have had a stainless exhaust for a few days.
Day 0:
1. Very quiet
2. Very poor performance
3. All shiny like chrome
Day 5:
1. Noisy like a blown box
2. Better performance
3. Black tail pipe
Is that to be expected?

Can I split the pipe into 2 pipes to halve the amount of noise?Hi,
Funny....
A change in tone after only 5 days suggests to me quite small compared to the OEM.
The original noise level would cost a grand and more.

My milano has always made this sort of quick "snap" on shutdown after the engine settles. To me, it sounds like it comes from the engine compartment front driver's side, but that's probably because that's the closest to where I'm sitting. I'm just wondering...

Ha, these are funny cars! mine always makes a "blurp" sound a few seconds after the engine has of the tank is popping due to a pressure change.

My!! It's funny when you go in something small and cheaper than the A3, the A3 feels like a solid premium louder at idle but it is a more precise....
Are louder, in that they make the engine sound more tappety but this is only noticeable at idle.
