These newer cars also do not like light that says CHANGE OIL Those have a problem of coming on maybe every 8,000-10,000 miles.
It is designed for people who dont change the oil at regular intevals.

I took my truck to the dealer about a week ago to get the oil changed for 1st time. It had just over 5,000 miles. The dealer seemed to think it was 10k, went back and fourth and told them the 2.7 was the exception.... whew
Anyway, after some guidance ...

Blackstone couldn't tell any difference between the two.
My oil didn't look at the 5,000 oil change interval.
I even did the HPO change myself.
There was some debate on this awhile back.
