Why is the English Channel called the English Channel instead of the "French Channel"? It runs along both countries. Why was it decided that it be called "The English Channel" and not "The French Channel"?

France is the only country that doesn't call it "the English Channel", the call it "la Manche".

The Local channel 72 on my channel guide is missing. It was there a few days ago. Online chat was not helpful.

"Frequency Limiting" the LFE? (6 channels v. 5.1 channels) I understand that a DVDA disc can hold up to 78 minutes if the source is 6 channels and 100 minutes if the the source is 5.1.

Is it possible to move the channels you have tuned in on sky from "other channels" to "all channels"? It takes a lot longer plus it needs a pin to be entered to view other channels listing
