I'm trying to get a feel for what is the norm these days for trainers and/or barn owners to charge to trailer their clients to shows, vet, etc. Is is per mile? If so, per loaded mile (in other words there AND back)? How much per mile? Do you also pay ...

The young jumper coach I lent it to did pay me but it was a very stressful, people didn't/wouldn't pay for it (they'd have to pay to hire a trailer from a commercial place willing to pay someone ....

Didn't you get a receipt when you returned the equipment? I know in the past that not only did I get a receipt, but I had to sign something as well with them .

Here's my perspective on it.
If you bill by the hour, then charging more per hour and then billing product.

I am not sure if this is covered here, but following a PIL by one person in the court, the Delhi Transport Dept has asked dealers in Delhi to stop charging incidental charges on purchase of new vehicle and also asked buyers to stop paying for that.
