I want to know how gmail chat allows the user to connect to AIM and then chat as if he were logged on to AIM.
Is this easy to make? How can it be done?
Does anybody know of any similar open source tools?

They support both Google Chat and AIM (among a number of other services), so you could get some.

Hi,
In Adium, When I go to the Chat Transcript Viewer window to search for stuff in the chat logs, it not always finds what I want.
Is there an index file that I can delete to have it reindex the logs? Or does it use spotlight in the underpinnings?

For some reason, (i'm muted) when I open the pop up box for the chat thing to see all the commands you can write and then left a game, I could not get rid of that pop up box.
