Did anyone watch?
29 chefs? Crazy... but they have to cook their way to a chef's jacket. Last night was the first half. The chefs had to go in groups of 9 or 10? (I couldn't keep track). The one guy in group 2 got sent home for butchering like an amateur...

Any chefs/cooks out there? what are the UK qualifications required for a possitive skills assessment? Which assessing authority did you go through and what does it involve? tests, costs etc...
Any info will be appreciated.

Hey... so, at the moment I'm the cook on a small farm in Italy. I cook healthily, but vast amounts (which I can deal with)

I bake my own whole wheat bread, use only fresh produce which is grown on the farm .
:( How do I cope? Well, it's been 2 and I cook healthily too.
And yes, it's hard.
Not a chef by trade but I cook at home a the time.
