Chemistry, for me, is determined in the first 30 minutes or less. You will find many opinions if you search 'chemistry' in the forums.

No. If you have to test the chemistry, there isn't any. You really should know long before the date is over whether there's chemistry.

if you expand the ethyl group becomes a methyl group attached to the 3rd Carbon....
Basically, the 1st rule along the carbons.
