Folks, my dd was unknowingly exposed to chickenpox early last week. My friends lo is just over a year and came out in the spots a couple of days later and informed me instantly.
I thought to myself ok we've all had it and survived so I'm not really worried...

Just found out via facebook my boss has shingles and his daughter has chicken pox. Will i be ok to go into work, he pops in and out even when ill i had chickenpox as a child so dunno if that makes any difference

I think it depends on the individual child.
When my 4 all had it at the same time it was mildest in the baby and worst in the eldest .
I don't know, perhaps there are strains, when my son had it here a couple of years ago, it wasn't dreadful at all .

It could be that chicken pox triggered the bodies defenses and reduced the tumors .
I haven't heard of this with NF but years ago there was an article that said an infection of a serious disease sometimes caused a remission of cancer .
