That is assuming....
I would look first to the canton court where they resided for that is where a custody case would have been filed.
If the child was not adopted then the records would be public, in the county courthouse where it took place.

It doesn't make sense that you would lose custody over a deployment, it'd just be temp custody....

Even then, it wouldn't be "child support" it would not petition the court to COLLECT child support without custody of the child.
